Here is the last sketch of 2012, along with my interpretation thereof.
I decided to only use the left hand side of the sketch for my layout. The paper I used is from Kaisercraft. I bought the paper about 2 years ago, but really battled to use it. I tried more than once to use it, to no avail, but when I saw these pictures, I just knew this range would work with it. The flowers and doodles are both from Prima. Here are some close-ups of the detail.
For the first sketch of 2013, I also only used the left hand side of the sketch. When doing this layout, it was not only my first layout of 2013, but also the very first time I used Teresa Collins. I really love some of her work, but we don't get a lot of her paper, so I have been wanting to use it for such a long time.
I must be very honest, I battled a bit using the paper, but once I got into it, I thoroughly enjoyed it! The embellishments are from Prima. Here are some pictures of the detail :-)
Hope you had a good read and happy scrappin'

Scrapping for the old and New Year seems to be a good idea, at least, now I am able to get to see some of the most incredible piece of art at your post. Do keep posting these creative layouts in the coming times.
