LITTLE BOY BLUE

Tuesday, April 8, 2014

Today I am here with a layout I made using the Little Boy Blue collection from Crate Paper.  It is a range I bought right after Jonathan was born, but never found the right photo to use with it.  So when I found this picture of him that we took at 6 weeks of him, I knew this was the right collection.

Products Used
Crate Paper Little Boy Blue 12x12 patterned paper
Crate Paper Little Boy Blue embellishments
Fabscraps alphabet letters
Tim Holtz stickles
Buttons, bling, twine and felt heart (from my stash)

Here are some pictures of the detail and embellishments.

I used Fabscraps chipboard alphabets for the title, which I covered with Tim Holtz stickles, just to give it a bit of shine.

I used the rosettes, stars and date die cut from the Crate collection and clustered them all together at the bottom right hand corner of the photo.  I added the ruler to the cluser, as well as a felt heart and some buttons and bling.  I also added a stitch to the heart.

I the top right hand corner I made a banner and embellished it with some buttons and bling, from my stash.  I also included some hand stitching, altering between red and blue.

Thank you for visiting my blog today!
