Hello ladies, today I want to share with you the layout I made with the Let's Get Sketchy sketch for this week.  We have a lovely sketch designed by Laura Whitaker this week.

Here is my take on the sketch.

Products used
Fancy Pants Be Different collection - Big Star 12x12 patterned paper
Fancy Pants Be Different collection - Oh Boy 12x12 pattern paper
American Crafts cream cardstock
Heidi Swapp chevron stencil
Tim Holtz idea-ology alpha parts frame
Tim Holtz idea-ology rub-ons
Tim Holtz distress paint
Gears, buttons and bling
Here are some close-up pictures of the detail.

I used a Heidi Swapp chevron stencil to include some detail on the two corners of the layout.  In the bottom right hand corner, I included a rub on, as well as some buttons and bling.  I also had some chipboard gears, which I painted with Tim Holts' distress paint.

So head on over to Let's Get Sketchy and link you projects HERE in order to win a $10 gift certificate from A Cutt Above.
A Cutt Above is an Etsy store that offers great Die-Cuts for your electronic die cutting machines.  Their files come in png, studio and svg.  These files can be used as die-cuts or stencils for your projects.  New files are added to the store weekly, so make sure you check back often!  In the meantime, make sure you take a moment to visit the ACA blog.  It's a new challenge blog dedicated to helping you put those electronic die-cutting machines to work!
