Hi there ladies, can you believe it, not only is the month of August on us, but we are already in day 3. For us here in South Africa, it means the last month of winter, then spring is upon us. And I bet, I am not the only one looking forward to spring and summer. Then of course we are also in the last part of the year, from here on it is downwards towards Christmas and our summer holiday :-)
Along with a new month, comes a new challenge for us on Let's Scrap.
Becky Fleck from Pagemaps is letting Let's Scrap feature this awesome sketch for the month of August!!!!!
By making a layout based on the above sketch, and posting it to the gallery by August 31st, you stand a change to win the following from the stunning South African company
They has generously donated one of their printers trays filled with la-petite enmarc goodies as the prize for this challenge. The tray can be painted then assembled or visa versa.
Enmarc is a South African Arts and Craft Manufacturer. We opened our doors 8 years ago to supply the South African scrapbooking and card making industry with locally manufactured embellishments. The idea was to supply mostly “Afrikaans” words, sayings and embellishments - unique to South Africa, its culture, history and people - as these could not be imported. But soon we changed our outlook as the requests to translate our products into English came in so thick and fast that we had no choice, but to listen. Hence that once we designed a product we had to design the English version of it too.

Unfortunately we do not supply directly to the public, but you are more than welcome to check out our catalogue at http://www.enmarc.co.za/ (Trade enquiries are welcome). Also on our main page you can follow the links to our Facebook page, and our brand new community site to see what some of our clients and friends are doing with the Enmarc goodies. On our community site http://enmarc.ning.com/ you can see our Design team in action – you should be able to recognize some of them as they are also active participants on Lets Scrap. We are very proud of our DT – these ladies are pulling out all the stops to play with the products we are sending them and in the process, creating some stunning LO’s. Plenty of inspiration and ideas these ladies are dishing up. Here is what you have to do to get your name in the draw for this fabulous prize.
