Project Life – Coming Soon!

I am super excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Wholesaler posted on their blog this morning -
We are super excited to announce that we will be distributing Project Life throughout Southern Africa! Watch this Space!

What is Project Life?

Project Life is a solution-based approach to scrapbooking that was created to simplify the process in order to allow you more time to enjoy life!  It requires not glue, no scissors, no tools and no skills of any kind.  the design of the products takes the guess work out of layout design sot hat you can focus on recording your everyday moments through your photos and journalling.

The simple design is stylish and makes it possible for you to complete more pages in less time.

Becky Higgins, creator of Project Life, is a busy wife and mother who is passionate about capturing the little bits of life, and she’s making it easy for others to do the same. “It’s called Project LIFE because it’s about YOUR LIFE. Whatever your life is. Whatever your stage of life. Whatever your family circumstances. Whatever your lifestyle. Project Life is designed to help anyone + everyone get their pictures into a book,” says Becky. Her goal is to help others Cultivate a Good Life and Record It.

This back-to-basics approach to scrapbooking appeals to the person who’s never made a scrapbook in their life as well as those with experience because it allows you to feel the freedom that comes from letting go of the “guilt” that so many associate with the memory keeping process. The Project Life “way” of memory-keeping is so crazy-simple, it has become known as revolutionary in the scrapbooking industry. All you need is a Core Kits, an Album, and a Big Pack of 60 Photo Pocket Pages. By pairing your pictures and memories with these basic products, you will be able to document your story in a hassle-free system that results in a complete and beautiful scrapbook.

American Crafts has partnered with Becky Higgins to manufacture, sell, and distribute Project Life brand products to retailers, bringing this popular scrapbooking method to more people in more places.

I cannot wait to get my hands on these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now for the layout I made and the sketch I used as inspiration.

When I look at the layout again, I realise that I ventured a bit from the sketch, oops :-)

LET'S SCRAP SKETCH 5-1-13

Tuesday, May 7, 2013

Oh my, there is really a lot happening at Let's Scrap during the month of May!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Along with the NSD challenges, we are still carrying on with our weekly sketches and DT challenges and tutorials.  Here is the sketch for this week.

The best part of this sketch was the fact that it makes provision for tons of pictures.  The pictures in this layout is from Easter, which was Jonathan's first Easter.  All of the paper and embellishments I used were from an old Basic Grey range.  Here are some pictures of the detail.

Hope you enjoyed the layout and would love if you head over to Let's Scrap and join in all the fun!
